I have my camera back at last, so I went strait outside to take some photos of the newly fallen snow, although it was dark already.
This is the result

Used the reverse canon EF-S 18-55mm with my extension rings (12/20/36mm)

Thank you really much :)
well the technique I used gave me the possibility for such a high magnification.
But I really like the dark background in your photos.

You are very welcome! Is there anyway you could show me your technique? Or do you just use a really, really good camera? Either way, all of your shots are so amazing!

And thank you for your kind words!

I cant remember the size, but it was a normal snowflake so I guess something between 2 and 4cm.

We have not even had much snow here... it froze for a week or so but without snow. Now all is gone and we are experiencing typical Dutch weather. Which means Shitty weather... at least it is dry now.

jear, same here at the moment, but the weather forcast says it should snow again :D Just a bit of fresh snow would be great, then it can get warm again =P

Hmmm we are not that lucky... we currently have a variant of snow which we call rain here... Not as exciting to photograph... No weather to be outside either

year we had some frost too, but there seems to be no living insect outside because of that, and frost is still not the snow I wanted :D
well it looks as though it gets a bit warmer now so I hope some insects come out :P

Weißt du eigentlich, wie schön das ist? :)

Moepling Featured By Owner Jan 15, 2009
